LGBTQIA+ Article Published for LGBT History Month
As part of LGBT History Month celebrations in 2022, Christine Budhan-Mills owner of 'She Creates Female Builder and Educator' reflects on what belonging to a family means to her as an LGBTQIA+ mother, wife and academic.
To date Christine has worked with LGBTQIA+ educational charities to support schools achieve inclusion quality marks, she has has lectured within Kingston University across departments but is eager to be a guest speaker in any educational setting to consult, guest speak or run LGBTQIA+ inclusion CPD.
UCL extend and Wandle Teaching School Hub exemplary educator
An equal part of She Creates Female Builder and Educator is educating for Christine Budhan-Mills. In early 2023, Christine and a colleague she collaborates with got recognised as exemplary EYFS ECT educators.
An example of their online training will be available via UCL extends website for future EYFS ECT educators to view and build upon.
Beyond Barriers Mentor
In May 2023, Christine enjoyed participating in a Beyond Barriers mentoring programme run by Kingston Univserity to support disadvantaged students receive high quality mentoring.
